FAQ

AgentLedger — cap and track AI-agent spend before finance is surprised.

What does AgentLedger do?

You log agents and monthly budgets; AgentLedger rolls up spend so far and flags anomalies when a run or agent approaches its cap. It is a lightweight spend ledger, not a full APM stack.

Is this legal advice or credit advice?

No. Output is decision-support for engineering and finance leads. It is not legal advice, not credit advice, and not a lending, underwriting, or compliance certification product. Consult qualified counsel and your finance controllers for binding decisions.

How are budgets tracked?

You set a monthly budget per agent. The tool compares spend so far against that budget and surfaces alerts when utilization crosses warning tiers (for example approaching 80% or breaching 100%). Hard payment stops still depend on your payment rails and policy plane.

Do I need heavy observability tooling?

No. AgentLedger is intentionally lightweight: log agents and budgets, review the ledger, export when needed. It does not replace distributed tracing or vendor billing portals.

What happens if AI is unavailable?

Fail-closed: missing configuration returns an error, upstream failures are labeled as such, and demo mode is marked explicitly. The product will not pretend a mock ledger is a live model-assisted result.

How does pricing work?

Listed plans are $19/month and $190/year. Checkout uses the in-app /api/checkout route with a monthly or yearly cycle. Enterprise can include BYOK and DPA/NDA terms.

Where can I read policies?

See our Privacy policy and Terms of service.
